For teams shipping an iPad or universal app, a responsive web product, or a tablet-friendly dashboard who need tablet artwork for a landing page, store listing or presentation.
iPad mockups in portrait or landscape, without a PSD.
An iPad mockup shows that your product works on a tablet, and gives a dense interface more room than a phone. MockupX includes iPad Pro, iPad Air and iPad mini frames in their current finishes; drop in a screenshot, choose the orientation, and export the image from the browser.
Start with the job, then choose the frame.
To make an iPad mockup, capture the app or site on an iPad or in the iPad simulator, choose a matching frame and orientation, fit the screenshot to the display, and export at the canvas size you need. Use landscape for dashboards and documents and portrait for reading and app-style screens.
Browse product & device generators →Choose an iPad when the tablet experience is part of the story. If the point is a responsive layout across devices, the multi-device mockup shows phone, tablet and desktop together.
iPad mockup frames you can use today

Which iPad frames are included
The editor includes iPad Pro M5 in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes (Silver, Space Black), iPad Air M4 in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes (Blue, Purple, Space Gray, Starlight) and iPad mini (A17 Pro). Most come in portrait and landscape, and each has its screen area mapped so the screenshot sits inside the display.
- iPad Pro M5 11″ and 13″
- iPad Air M4 11″ and 13″
- iPad mini (A17 Pro)
- Portrait and landscape orientations
Use a screenshot that matches the iPad's shape
iPad screens are close to 3:4 in portrait, so a capture from an iPad or the iPad simulator fills the frame cleanly; a 13-inch iPad capture is 2064 × 2752 pixels. A phone screenshot will not look right inside an iPad. If you only have a web capture, resize the browser window to a tablet shape first. Remove notifications, test data and debug overlays before capture.
Pick orientation by content, then keep it
Landscape suits dashboards, spreadsheets, editors and split views; portrait suits reading, forms and single-column apps. Choose the orientation the product actually uses on iPad, and keep it consistent across a set so the images read as one series.
- Landscape for wide, dense interfaces
- Portrait for reading and app-style flows
- One orientation per series

iPad mockup FAQ
Is the iPad mockup free?
The iPad frames are available in the MockupX editor on the free plan, with PNG and JPEG export at the exact canvas size. MockupX Pro adds WebP and 2× high-resolution export.
Which iPad models are available?
iPad Pro M5 11-inch and 13-inch, iPad Air M4 11-inch and 13-inch, and iPad mini (A17 Pro), in their current finishes.
Can I make a landscape iPad mockup?
Yes. Most iPad frames have both portrait and landscape versions. Use a landscape screenshot for a landscape frame so the interface is not cropped or stretched.
Can I use it for App Store iPad screenshots?
Yes, as long as the export matches Apple's accepted sizes. If the app runs on iPad, Apple requires a 13-inch set at 2064 × 2752 or 2048 × 2732 pixels; MockupX has those canvas presets.
