Put it into practice
- Separate folders by store and locale.
- Name images in the intended order.
- Include pixel dimensions and approval status in a short delivery note.
What this looks like
The release owner receives numbered images for each locale with a matching contact sheet.
A detail to keep clear
A filename does not prove compliance; inspect the actual dimensions and content.
Using MockupX
Store specifications are maintained by Apple and Google and can change. Check the relevant console's current requirements for the device family and asset type. MockupX creates images; it does not submit listings, validate every policy or guarantee approval.
Check the result
Keep the original screenshot, then review the exported file at the size where people will see it. Check the message, the visible interface and the final crop separately. For a handoff, record the destination and the approved file so another person can distinguish the final version from a draft.
References and further reading
Use the official references for format behavior and current destination requirements. The composition advice above is a practical design approach, not a promise of platform approval.
