PRACTICAL WORKFLOWS

Create a product screenshot graphic for an email campaign

An email graphic should show one useful product moment at a readable width. Treat the mockup as an image asset within an email, not as the email itself.

Put it into practice

  1. Choose a focused screenshot and short message.
  2. Export at a size suitable for the email layout.
  3. Add alternative text and a real link in your email tool.

What this looks like

WORKED EXAMPLE

A newsletter introduces a new calendar filter with one clear screenshot.

A detail to keep clear

MockupX does not generate or test responsive HTML email; an image mockup is not an email-client rendering test.

Using MockupX

These workflows describe ways to use the editor, not separate automated services. Keep original images and delivery notes outside the editor when a repeatable handoff matters. For paid work, check rights to screenshots, brand assets and stock imagery before publishing.

Check the result

Keep the original screenshot, then review the exported file at the size where people will see it. Check the message, the visible interface and the final crop separately. For a handoff, record the destination and the approved file so another person can distinguish the final version from a draft.
