SOCIAL & LAUNCH GRAPHICS

Show a single feature in a social release card

A release card works best when the new capability is visible. Focus on the relevant control or result.

Put it into practice

  1. Capture the feature in a useful state.
  2. Crop to the relevant area.
  3. Use a caption that names the change clearly.

What this looks like

WORKED EXAMPLE

A new filter is shown beside its effect on the result list.

A detail to keep clear

A generic dashboard image can leave viewers unsure what actually changed.

Using MockupX

A social composition is a separate design from the original product screenshot. Use the output frame to establish shape, then test the exported image in the actual destination preview. MockupX does not publish posts or guarantee a platform will display every pixel without cropping.

Check the result

Keep the original screenshot, then review the exported file at the size where people will see it. Check the message, the visible interface and the final crop separately. For a handoff, record the destination and the approved file so another person can distinguish the final version from a draft.
