EXPORT QUALITY

Verify the pixel dimensions of an exported mockup

The downloaded file is the final source of truth for output dimensions. Check it after selecting the canvas size and export scale.

Put it into practice

  1. Set the intended output frame.
  2. Review the selected export scale.
  3. Inspect the downloaded image's width and height.

What this looks like

WORKED EXAMPLE

A 2× export has twice the width and height of the selected base frame.

A detail to keep clear

Doubling both dimensions produces four times as many pixels, not twice as many.

Using MockupX

MockupX exports PNG and JPEG, with WebP and 2× output available to Pro accounts. Export requires sign-in, and free exports carry a watermark. A transparent background remains transparent only in a format that supports it. Inspect the downloaded file, not only the editor preview.

Check the result

Keep the original screenshot, then review the exported file at the size where people will see it. Check the message, the visible interface and the final crop separately. For a handoff, record the destination and the approved file so another person can distinguish the final version from a draft.
