EXPORT QUALITY

Find why a frame is clipped in an export

Anything outside the canvas boundary is excluded from the image. Rotation and shadows can extend farther than the main screen rectangle.

Put it into practice

  1. Check every edge of the composition.
  2. Move or scale the object inward.
  3. Export again and inspect the file itself.

What this looks like

WORKED EXAMPLE

A tilted frame loses its corner because the object extends beyond the canvas.

A detail to keep clear

The editor's surrounding workspace is not part of the exported image.

Using MockupX

MockupX exports PNG and JPEG, with WebP and 2× output available to Pro accounts. Export requires sign-in, and free exports carry a watermark. A transparent background remains transparent only in a format that supports it. Inspect the downloaded file, not only the editor preview.

Check the result

Keep the original screenshot, then review the exported file at the size where people will see it. Check the message, the visible interface and the final crop separately. For a handoff, record the destination and the approved file so another person can distinguish the final version from a draft.
